Hi Everyone!
I want to thank everyone for all of their support. It has been a BLAST!
I especially want to thank my partner, Tuffy, who retired 13 years ago…she came back and made me look good. She put up with me for 10 weeks which believe you me, can be difficult –ha ha ha! She also sacrificed a lot to do the show, being away from her twin boys and her husband, Don.
Also, I thanked many people last night after the show and I really meant my thanks! There are a number of people that don’t get enough recognition for the tireless work that they do, which make us all look good.

Christine Hough-Sweeney and hometown favourite Tie Domi were the fifth pair iced, as the results were revealed during tonight’s broadcast on BATTLE OF THE BLADES. Marie-France Dubreuil and Stéphane Richer are the fifth pair to be saved, joining the two remaining pairs for a chance to win $100,000 for the charity of their choice.

Tie Domi’s run on CBC’s Battle of the Blades came to an end Monday night when he and partner Christine Hough-Sweeney were eliminated by the judges.
Domi got disoriented midway through his program, skated the wrong way and the timing was off for the rest of the routine. The pair earned a score of 16.6 from the judging panel of Dick Button, Sandra Bezic and guest judges Bret Hedican and Kristi Yamaguchi on the figure skating reality show that pairs former pro hockey players with figure skaters.
