Bob Probert passed yesterday at a young age of 45

Tie is deeply saddened by the loss of Bob Probert. The sudden and untimely passing of his long time friend is a loss for not only for family, friends; but also for loyal Detroit Redwing and Chicago Blackhawk fans, and all hockey lovers.

Tie extends his sympathy and condolences to Dani and the children.

Third Period: 10:24 – Domi takes a run at Leschyshyn. Neil immediately comes over and they drop the gloves. Neil gets in a right, and it’s pretty much all Domi from here, as they start to spin a bit and Domi lands a few lefts, misses on one or two more. They go down and try to get back up, but the linesmen stop it. Pretty short bout.

Sundin hailed as quiet leader

He didn’t yell. He didn’t use broad gestures to galvanize his charges. There were no fire and brimstone speeches in his repertoire — at least that we know of.

But that didn’t stop Mats Sundin from being one of the best leaders in the NHL, according to his former teammates.
