Ray immediately calls out Domi after deal to Ottawa

Rob Ray watched Tie Domi punch out Magnus Arvedson last week
and thought it was kind of funny.
Now, Ray would like to meet Domi about the incident. And he
doesn't mean he wants to get together for coffee.
Domi was suspended for three games for his gloves-on attack
of the Ottawa Senators' Arvedson in a game last Tuesday. Ray
became a member of the Senators yesterday when he was traded
by the Buffalo Sabres for future considerations and quickly
immersed himself in the intense rivalry that exists between
the Maple Leafs and Senators.
"It's
definitely a situation to be addressed," Ray said of
Domi's use of Arvedson as a punching bag. "At the time,
you got a good laugh about it. But now it's a situation where
both teams play again one more time and there's a possibility
of meeting in the playoffs."
The Leafs and Senators, in the regular-season finale for both
clubs, square off at the Air Canada Centre on April 5.
Ottawa general manager John Muckler insisted he did not have
another possible playoff series with the Leafs in mind when
he acquired Ray for future considerations. In each of the
past three springs, the Leafs have eliminated a physically
weaker Sens team. In the past couple of weeks, the Sens have
added Vaclav Varada and Joey Tetarenko as well.
"I
never really thought of Toronto," Muckler said. "We're
trying to win the Stanley Cup."
Muckler wanted Brad May, but was told by the Phoenix Coyotes
he would not be dealt.
