Joined once again by Toronto Maple Leaf, Tie Domi, Mission representatives, friends, supporters and a host of volunteers officially launched the 7th Annual Longest Underground Walkway Clothing Drive at Toronto's Go Station on January 24.

In association with Go Transit and the City of Toronto, the event is being held this week in 13 downtown office towers throughout the PATH system, in support of Yonge Street Mission's Double Take clothing store.

Over 40,000 special donation bags have been distributed throughout the towers, and the Mission hopes to raise over 100,000 pounds of clothing during the drive.

All donations go to support the Mission's Double Take clothing store, with all clothing cleaned and re-sold to community members living in the Regent Park neighbourhood.

Toronto Maple Leaf Tie Domi was once again on hand to officially launch the 7th Annual Longest Underground Walkway Clothing Drive and Sale at Union Station on January 24, 2005. "I'm very proud to be part of this important event again this year," he said.
