Could you possibly single any one great moment out? I am an Australian who has been fortunate enough to live in Toronto for two years of my life and who has been fortunate enough to see the Leafs play at both the Maple Leaf Gardens and the Air Canada Center. The biggest drawcard for me was always the sheer presence of Tie Domi.
My most memorable Tie Domi moment would have to be the night Tie had a fan pour beer on him. Tie turned around gave the guy some water and then pummled him. I think the picture below just about sums up the events of this night vs. the Flyers.
Joe Nieuwendyk, Gary Roberts, Tie Domi and Ed Belfour joined GM John Ferguson and a group of former Leafs and NHL greats in assistant Keith Acton’s Game Of Our Lives II at Stouffville Arena, raising about $30,000 for local cancer and leukemia charities.
My most memorable moment with regards to Tie Domi is the beautiful fights he used to get in with Scott Stevens(going back a few years) Now my most memorable moment is when he was playing on the Crazy Eights Line for Pat Quinn this year and as my wife and I watched the game
You have been one of my favorite Leafs of all time your grit to take on all comers no matter what size although I would like too see you beat the living daylights out of that idiot in Ottawa # 16 .I hope it happens someday.
i was previliged enough to be invited by “King” Clancy to sit with him in the famous “bunker” for a period of a Leaf-Blues game in 1987.He was taken to the hospital after the game and passed away within 48 hours.
Hey first off passionate LEAFS FAN ie hockey in general im from Pennsylvania so i have to buy direct Tv NHL center ice to watch games now adays and obviously i watch Leafs games when i was younger me and my cousing wold brave climbing on his roof to adjust the antenna so we could pick up a fuzzzy signal of Global and we would watch all Leafs games covered on it
My most memorable moment of tie was a game against philadelphia , and tie was mad at Sandy mc carthy [who?] for acussing him of calling him the n -word . Tie the man that he is, refused to ever fight mc carthy again.
